Shaped by decades of experience behind the camera and years of collaboration within the aviation community. Our work reflects a deep respect for the people, aircraft, and stories that define both military and civilian aviation.
Founded and operated by an independent aviation photojournalist with more than twenty years of professional photography experience and over a decade dedicated specifically to aviation media. Fly High Aviation Media approaches every assignment with precision, integrity, and a focus on impactful storytelling. This foundation was strengthened during the years spent reporting under the French based media group Global Air Power, Led by Thierry Latimer (RIP). His mentorship, generosity, and unwavering professionalism played a significant role in shaping the standards and values that continue to guide our work today.
Based in Maryland near the Washington DC metro area, Fly High Aviation Media provides comprehensive coverage of aviation events across the United States and internationally. Our scope includes airshows, military demonstrations, base open houses, civilian fly‑ins, and industry events. Through close coordination with public affairs offices, aircrews, event organizers, and performers, we ensure that every project is documented with accuracy and respect.
Our coverage extends beyond event photography. We produce detailed editorial reports, feature stories, interviews, and industry‑focused photojournalism that highlight the people and operations behind aviation. Each assignment is approached with professionalism and a dedication to presenting aviation in its most authentic and compelling form.

Team Member Profile: Harry Morrow
Harry Morrow — Photographer/Website Editor
Harry Morrow was born in Glasgow, Scotland, and raised in Leeds, England before relocating to the United States in 2010. A lifelong aviation enthusiast, Harry’s fascination with flight began at RAF Finningley in 1982 and matured into a professional pursuit. He started photographing aircraft in 1992, building an extensive archive of film and slide images and transitioning to digital photography in 2005.
Over more than three decades Harry has documented civilian and military aviation across the UK, Europe, Dubai, Asia, and the USA. Harry’s work blends technical skill with historical sensitivity, producing images and stories that honor aviation heritage and the communities that sustain it. At Fly High Aviation Media Harry combines photography, reporting, and editorial leadership to create immersive aviation coverage for global audiences.
Team Member Profile: Oliver Bowser-Smyth
Oliver Bowser‑Smyth — Editorial Contributor
Originally from the UK, Oliver Bowser‑Smyth serves as an editorial writer for Fly High Aviation Media, bringing a thoughtful and steady voice to our online features. Working remotely, he supports the team with written content and, on occasion, provides both video and still imagery to complement our coverage. Oliver’s adaptable approach and reliable contributions make him a valued part of our media team, and we look forward to his continued involvement in the months ahead.
From 2020 to the present day, I have begun a new chapter in aviation media reporting with the creation of my own aviation media group, Fly High Aviation Media. This new era builds on the experience and foundation I gained during my earlier years, from 2016 to 2019, when I reported under the French based media group Global Air Power, led by the remarkable Thierry Latimer (RIP). I remain deeply grateful for the time, guidance, and opportunities Thierry gave me. His knowledge, generosity, and kindness left a lasting impact on my work and will stay with me forever. The transition to Fly High Aviation Media allowed me to carry forward the passion Thierry helped shape, while developing my own vision and identity for the platform.
My reporting from 2016 through 2019 was produced under the media group Global Air Power, led by the late French aviation enthusiast Thierry Latimer (RIP). I remain deeply grateful for the time, guidance, and opportunities Thierry gave me. His knowledge, generosity, and kindness left a lasting impact on my work and will stay with me forever. In 2020, I began a new chapter as the owner and operator of Fly High Aviation Media, a role I proudly continue to this day. This transition allowed me to build on the foundation Thierry helped shape, carrying forward the same passion for aviation reporting while developing my own vision for the platform.
